My partner wanted to Visit here after looking for a place to eat on google. I was not that keen but so pleased we did. The pub is a small pub with a bar separate to the dining room. The dining room is not the biggest but it’s comfy and has a little unique feel. It’s clean and tidy. Had a log burner and just feels nice. The staff. We were served by a young g lady who was dressed as harry potter I think as it’s near to Halloween. She was friendly, polite and full of smiles. The food. WOW THE FISH AND CHIPS WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD. The fish was so tender and juicy, the chips were perfect crispy and so fluffy inside. My partner had Chicken topped with haggis and a slice of smoky bacon and peppercorn sauce, mash and veg on the side. She thought it was fantastic and to say she doesn’t like haggis eat every bit. We really enjoyed every bite eaten. By the way the views outside are amazing, it would be fantastic here in the summer Thank you for a lovely meal and cracking service.
So delicious! Classic Scottish food - everything was cooked very nicely, the mushroom bruschetta was especially yummy with its rich creaminess. The staff were very kind and friendly! Definitely go here for the sunset, you can sit in their patio part of the restaurant 😊
Wonderful meal! Crab & lobster stack was so fresh & tasty. All good was great - gammon, fish & chips and burger. Lovely friendly staff and really reasonable prices. Thank you
***What a lovely place to eat! Right by the seaside we went for a local dinner. And it was a treat! Lovely and smiling staff that welcome you right when you enter. They went an extra mile to give us a table with a sea view in another room. Great service. The food was delicious, big portions, very well prepared and balanced. Really lovely place. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and food was speedy. Delicious menu- I had the pork loins in apple sauce which was so good! Also had the best prawn cocktail I've had as a starter, really good idea to add apple into the salad. Drinks were a good price and again very quick service. Must say again how lovely the staff were, so nice and cheerful! Facilities good too, funny quotes in the restrooms add to nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit, just wish I lived near here so I could visit more regularly!
