Really enjoyed our trip here, all the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Had a 22oz tomahawk steak with peppercorn sauce which was brilliant, however the menu has a lot of variety, and plenty of choice. Everybody's food who i was with looked excellent, and all 9 of us were very pleased.
Have seen lots of great reviews about this place so thought I'd better check it out and wasn't disappointed. We had Sunday dinner 1 pork and 1 lamb and we really enjoyed both. Have booked for the steak night on Wednesday so looking forward to that
Great dog friendly pub! Stopped off after a walk and had a drink with the most amazing chips as well as flatbread and dips and halloumi. All gorgeous. Quick service with friendly staff. We will be back soon!!
Excellent food well worth the money. Single only complaint the gravy was thin and bland, not meaty or wine jus, just like packet bisto, the rest was amazing. Went back again three months later, a changed bland menu and dissapointing food. £7.00 a pint plus 70p service charge for a country pub. They are taking the preverbial, won't be going back. Avoid!
Lovely little pub went Tues afternoon great atmosphere Lovely views, we ordered a starter of galic mushroom which we enjoyed. Then l order fish and chips. What arrived was whale and chip it was wonderful, but the chip are heavily salted. My wife ordered the stake and ale pie, which she said was lovely. I would definitely recommend giving the place a try
