This Association was established in 1948 and the original Community Hall, built by Alwoodley residents with money raised by them, was opened in 1949.
The Hall has been extended and improved over the years. We have recently celebrated our Diamond Jubilee and the Association continues to provide the community with sports and recreational facilities.
The Association is a registered charity and all funds raised are ploughed back into the Association for the benefit of the Alwoodley community.
We have three tennis courts and a football pitch which serves both junior and senior teams.
In addition we have many indoor activities catering for all ages with a wide range of interests.
Our premises are available for hire and are used by many local groups and businesses.
