Fab day. Food and staff great. 25 of us booked for mum and dad's 60 wedding anniversary and couldn't have gone any better. Majority chose the carvery but a couple chose from menu and couldn't fault any of the food. Nicola and Emily Joe looked after us along with Joanne, Ella and Mike and we weren't rushed in anyway and service was great. Shout out to the kitchen staff for fabulous food, jade, Glen, Stuart and Dylan. We will definitely be back again soon. Thanks xx
The service was excellent, very friendly. Food was really good had carvery, the leeks and cauliflower cheese was the best I’ve had. The cheese sauce tasted of cheese. Definitely recommend it.
We visited as a family get together of 12. We enjoyed the carvery. There were better vegetable options such as kale and leak. It was great and informal. We also took table games that we played rather than kids being on screens and we were not rushed.
Had a carvery with my family and was pleasantly surprised at how unbelievably cheap the prices were. The food was good and tasty as you would expect from a Sunday roast and a generous portion given, (yummy pigs in blankets included) Would recommend the Hitching Post for the tasty food and 100% value for money
Last minute booking and glad we did. Had the carvery and it was excellent. Many choices of vegetables which were all very tasty.
