Having lived in or around the Town for much of their lives Jodie and Mike each had a passion for Music and started on the Horsham Music scene some 10 years ago, which is where they met, their relationship blossomed and the pair seemed destined to run one of Horsham's most historic and best loved pubs. Taking the reigns post pandemic, in May 2021, they've taken to their new Publican roles like ducks to water. Well kept local beers, a range of Gins and Rums, amongst other tipples, good food and all in the delights of a 17th Century pub, more on the pub history below.

It was a music night and very busy. When we arrived we found a high stool, a low stool and a chair to sit on (all different heights!!). The quality of the live music was 'variable' in the first half but went up to a much higher level when the landlady took the stage. Good set!!
Best Sunday Roast Ever ! All Home Cooked on Site with Friendly Staff & Excellent Real Ales !
Went for lunch, just wanted a snack but no sandwiches or baguettes. Ended up with soup and chips and my partner had olives as he doesn’t do soup. No choice of coffee, overpriced and not that nice. The barman was pleasant but very scruffy and had very badly painted nails, not a good look to be serving food. Our bill for 4 people was £82.00 which seemed very expensive for what we had. Definitely won’t go there for lunch again.
Booked last minute after recommendation from friends and had a superb Sunday roast. Generous portions, perfect roast potatoes. Excellent service. Keen to try other things on your menu now!
Lovely pub. Geat food (the chicken wings were huge), excellent range of Real Ale and Keg. Liam & Dave are the dynamic duo! Love the place. Will be back!
