Ordered a toasted cheese and onion sandwich with chips for lunch. It was the only sandwich on the lunch menu and I really just wanted a sandwich. It arrived and it wasn't a sandwich it was a cia batta. I asked to see the menu to see if I had seen it wrong. The lady came over and I explained I don't like ciabatta and really wanted a sandwich. She went to the kitchen and came back stating that it does say sandwich but they always use ciabatta. I was offered a toastie as a sandwich. It came and was ok. A bit try as no butter had been used on the sandwich. And the cheese was not cheddar so no real taste. The waitress was very good and I was pleased they changed my meal. I will not be going back a very limited lunch menu if you just want a small bite to eat.
A great reopening of the kitchen, excellent food and lovely staff
Lovely food and atmosphere. The staff are always happy to help with a smile on their face. Would definitely recommend this pub for all.
Just started up food again recently, new chefs, new owners and very top service. The food is amazing, the burgers are juicy and delicious, the chips are filled to the brim with potato and the brownie desert is beautiful. I highly recommend this place soo much! Good to help local businesses tooππ
Just had a delicious Sunday roast at the Royal Oak, food was amazing. A lovely village pub, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere. Would Definitely recommend.
