I come here regular with my daughter and father. The staff are always lovely and the food is great! It has such a nice atmosphere, which is why we keep coming back.

Food was Nice and hot, staff was very helpful and polite, Clean sitting area and prices of drinks were cheaper than other pubs near by. Was lovely to sit And relax without the hussel and bussel of over crowded bar.

Really enjoyable visit today, had a Cheeseburger and some chips with onion rings which were really nicely done and it didn't take long for them to arrive despite how busy the pub was (though it did gradually quieten down a little as the day went on), i'm still full now so clearly the food is filling as well. Anyone in the Low Fell area, if you're looking for a place to have some good quality and filling food, I definitely suggest the Gold Medal :)

We love this place for a cheap and cheerful lunchtime meal. So warm and cosy and lovely views to look out onto if you manage to get the right window seat. The staff are friendly and accommodating, toilets are immaculate and the food is always lovely. Very good value for money.

Vile venue and frankly quite scary, food wait was very long, asked for medium rare steak and got over well done steak and medium rare chicken wings.. when the waiter brought the food she asked if we needed anything else I asked for a lemonade she promptly came back to tell me that she wasn't allowed to bring it and I had to go myself. Once i got to the bar I asked why and he shrugged his shoulders.. lemonade was crammed packed with ice I got a couple sips. Please do not come here unless you want to leave in a bad mood
