Booked up two weeks ago Told we never had to reserve any food as they would have a full menu when we get there tonight. Absolutely nothing decent left on the menu and only six items Two of them were Vegan ?run out of Bacardi run out of Guinness I cannot recommend this establishment at all….

What a hidden gem! I brought my mum and her little dog to stay for a night. Dog friendly hotel at the highest level! The room was immaculate, mini bar stocked, views amazing. The grounds are so beautiful. The team were so welcoming and friendly I honestly felt like I'd been coming here for years. I stay away often and this place has to be one of the best pub/hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. The food was fantastic. The live band was amazing. But more than anything, the locals and other customers were just so friendly. This pub has such great energy. Cant wait to return. Thank you wendy and team for being so accommodating!

My overnight stay was an absolute pleasure. After a long drive I was made to feel most welcome by staff whose Customer Service is first class. My room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was probably the best I have had away from home. A big thank you to Wendy and her great team. I will certainly be visiting again.

What a wonderful gem of a place. I booked a lovely dog friendly double room. When we arrived they had put dog beds and dog water bowls in the room. We spent the evening in the lounge area overlooking the garden and river. Wendy is the perfect host and her staff are amazing. They were all attentive to everyone's needs. Our room was comfy and had everything we needed. They even put a dairy free coffee pod in the room for me. Truly wonderful place to stay and we would definitely book again. Thank you ❤️

Stayed here whilst visiting friends in Woking. I must say its one of the best pub/hotels I've stayed in, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean with a mini fridge and snack bar (chargeable of course) but we got back late and kitchen was closed for room service so they allowed is to get a takeaway for the room. Parking was easy although it is a small carpark so at times it could be difficult. We will be staying here again and next time be able to sample the food rather than just the drinks. :)

Pub food and drink

Food & drink

Casual, relaxed dining is our aim here at the Crown & Anchor, we still are & love being a pub that serves good food not a restruant pretending to be a pub by putting gastro before the word pub but a pub for all.

Sit back, relax, chill out & enjoy.
