Yummy food and friendly staff. Nothing was too much bother. We were served by Elliot who was really helpful, and friendly. Good choice of menu and the food was very tasty. Will definitely come again.
A wonderful Christmas lunch! There was 8 of us and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Food was excellent and Kiera looked after us very well. Will definitely be back!
Great starter of scallops.Main festive lunch ,would have preferred on larger plates,food was good, but cold.Good portion of separate vegetables,however really cold.Christmas pudding and brandy sauce lovely and hot! I am a little fussy, as am a caterer, but can not understand why when not terribly busy food was cold? Temperature checks...really? Nice waitress, and venue.
I rated five stars for service and atmosphere. The staff members serving my table were all very customer-friendly and offered commendable service. The restaurant itself houses a cozy environment for get together occasions. On the other side food quality was given a three star rating. The four of us ordered three fish and chips and one burger. Our consensus is that the fish and chips were good but were left to be considered exceptional, ie not on a par with the other aspects of high ratings for this restaurant. Similar views go to the burger.
Really great roast, as a table we ordered the trio, chicken, pork, lamb and the vegetarian fig roasts and all thoroughly enjoyed them. The vegetarian roast was greatly preferred over the typical nut roast that is offered at other pubs.
