Great village pub that now has a range of cooked food available from burgers to curry and pizza which is delicious. Lucy & Darren and all the bar staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome on first name terms. Even Bailey the pub German Shepherd comes to say hello. Well organised with a variety of ongoing entertaining activities and the pub is always merchandised to a high seasonal standard by Lucy. Good range of booze and snacks available and always good crack with the locals
We went to have a wake here and the barmaid serving I felt was quite disrespectful she gave you the feeling she couldn't wait to get rid of you....the room that was booked was quite small to be accepting venues but to be fair 'the family ' booked it .... it's mainly the way we were treated that was the issue ....ale was ok though, no hand drawn ale at the time ...
Really nice Pub. Good people, lovely barkeeper/owner, great to enjoy a cold one. Different variety of drinks. Good prices. With a bit luck, you'll be greeted by Bailey, a cute German Shepard. Overall a nice pub to chill and Talk. Hope we will someday return to this placeππ»
Nice pint. Even though I had lime and lemonade. I have had a pint of lager here before. Very friendly owners. Nice and clean. Only one whinge. The Landlady didn't offer me any KFCππ and I where Hank Marvin ππππ»ππ»
I popped in this pub today for the first time with the mrs and my 6 year old daughter on the way back from Sundown. The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is so friendly. I spoke to a few blokes who Iβd never met before and it truly was such a nice place to be. I donβt normally write reviews but I felt like these guys (staff and regular customers) deserve it.
