Our fave London pub by far! Always our first choice for family celebrations and visitors alike. The Sun Inn cannot be beaten! Ciro flew the flag again for us so warmly on Saturday. Thanks to him and the team, as always. 👌🫶👍
Great food at this fantastic, busy & lively pub. Fast, friendly and very efficient service with a delicious and well priced menu. We ordered the shepherds pie which was rich and decadent and the chicken Milanese which was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back very soon!
Lunch on a cold day was perfect. We chose from the sandwich menu, fish goujons which were delicious and the chicken wrap was equally so. Very pleasant atmosphere despite the low numbers in the pub. Heartedly recommended
Check your glasses in this place! Whilst waiting I noticed them pouring a pint in a glass that was disgustingly filthy. When pouring my pint I checked my own glass and it was filthy as well. I told the barman and he said without checking ‘it’s clean it’s just stained’ and carried on pouring. I had to really stress the point to and demand a clean glass before he would stop. I could wipe a thick layer of dirt off the original glass. The barman just ignored me completely so he didn’t have to acknowledge the fact. Staff in this pub are extremely rude, poorly trained, and serve drinks in toxic glasses. Luckily I noticed so make sure you check or you’ll get poisoned!
They have done a lovely job refurbishing the outside area and tidying up the rest. However, whilst the food was perfectly acceptable, there is a bit of a problem, the staff, unfortunately, are pretty much all untrained, I was served by mostly new staff who had no direction, I was ignored when I arrived , even though there were five behindthe bar, then passed through three staff members before I was seated at my booked table, once seated the service was ok but slow, and watching the rest of the pub I could see it was the same throughout, the, I assume, assistant manager was trying hos best to oversee everything with some success, the manager, again I assume, however was just swanning around giving no guidance or leadership to anyone. All in all a pleasant evening but with easily corrected issues.
