South West London CAMRA pub of the year 2004. On the outside a ‘roadhouse’ type public house, typical of the suburban pub style of the 1950s, the Sultan is, on the inside, one of South London’s hidden treasures.
Never judge a book by its cover. On the outside a typical suburban 1930s roadhouse style pub, on the inside, one of South London’s hidden treasures.
An award winning pub with a warm, welcoming atmosphere created by Helen, Steve and their team. Serving a range of cask beer from Hop Back Brewery and regular guests as well as a range of lagers, ciders, wines and spirits all in a relaxing and vibrant environment.
The Sultan also sports a walled garden and bright conservatory in which to relax and enjoy good conversation.

This place is the coolest, coziest, most welcoming pub in southwest London!!! I love the Thursday evening open mics, they're just so much fun for all ages. Gary and staff are amazing hosts and make you feel home. They don't serve food but we always order it via apps and enjoy The Sultan's nice beers, ciders or wines. It's a lovely place!!!
The very best pub in the area - proper pints, ales kept well and served with care. The staff are clearly trained in serving an actual pint and not the under-serve so rife in other establishments. Staff and punters welcoming to anyone and everyone, and a real community pub which supports good causes.
Excellent pub about 10 minutes walk from Colliers Wood tube station. Six cask ales - and three ciders - on handpump when I last visited. Some outdoor seating. An attractive two-bar 1950s brick building built to replace original demolished during the war and now extended with a conservatory. Has been identified by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) as having a regionally important historic pub interior. Rescued from likely permanent closure in 1994 by Hop Back Brewery; this is their only London pub.
Great relaxing pub with well kept ales, mainly Hop Back Brewery. Very welcoming and friendly service from the two ladies behind the bar. Looking forward to my next visit!!
Lovely Pub! Very homely atmosphere and the staff is exceptionally welcoming! Track and tracing as well as social distancing guidelines are in place so it feels very safe to be there. Look forward to visiting again!

Traditional english pub with antiquity twist. Fun and family place with great banter.
