Been coming here for years, but I must say since it's been taken over by someone else it's really cleaned up the atmosphere. Don't seem to have all the idiots in their anymore. Well done guys keep up the hard work your all putting into such a lovely pub
In 5 months with the new landlady the custom basis has cleaned up and its an amazing atmosphere the new land lady Ellie and her new bar team are so helpful and welcoming
Went to the plough on game day and what can I say it’s a little gem of a pub great team behind the bar great atmosphere and really good prices what’s not to love about it made to feel welcome by the new landlady And she’s doing an amazing job it really shows how good she’s doing there
I don't know if the cleanliness has changed in the last 12 months but the last time I went in (around 12 months ago) I ordered a strongbow, went to sit down beside the window. I looked at the glass and it was like someone had smeared it in yogurt, left it to dry then served the drink in the glass. I seem to remember paying very little for the drink, it wasn't even worth that. Vile place and I have been known to drink in some dumps, this is by far the worst.
