This is a wonderful local pub with a great atmosphere. It doesn't do food, but everything else is warm, welcoming, and friendly. Great karaoke on Sunday evenings, too.
The Railway Inn is a very good place to meet up with family and have some drinks. This place is great. During the week days it's quiet sometimes. It could get busy but the seats are always available. They have a pool table which costs 50p per play. They also have Jukebox but it only plays the music on the pool table side. (I think) the jukebox is free sometimes. The bartenders are very nice. The seats are comfy. Outside area for fresh air. The bathrooms are clean and somewhat tidy. They have bathrooms for females and males. Snacks are kind of expensive. I paid £1 for a little peanut packet. The snacks are varied. They accept cards and cash.
Staff great, but does need work done especially the gents toilets. Other than that, a nice friendly local and drinks reasonable and well looked after. Staff still efficient and great. Drinks well priced especially during happy hour 4pm til 7pm Monday to Thursday. Still the same except the bar staff from Poland have left. Shame, because they were very good at what they did. Will miss them. Getting better, always made welcome and the manager, Lyn, is excellent. Plenty of Saturday entertainment on the way. Looking forward to them. No change except the manager, Lyn, left. New staff on board that are experienced and so still great friendly service. Always have a ball when we go there. Also, they're dog friendly. Happy days. New manager, Claire, She's excellent. Changed the place completely. Staff bubbly with friendly service. Place is oozing new character. Claire's the difference. Plenty of things going on throughout December every weekend. Crack on Claire 🍻.
I work away all the time, this pub is right next to my accommodation my company has booked me into. Obviously I've come over for a pint or two. Everyone is really friendly... I was made to feel right at home! After just two nights I felt like I had been coming here for years !!!
Ain't stepped foot in this pub. Recently became my local and I think ill pass hard. Drove past on a Sunday with my family to be screamed at 'What you looking at?' When I was minding my own buisness by middle aged men who clearly think they are something hard it' wasn't even 5pm a bit embarrassing really. Wearing stone island must make them feel solid clearly got no lives and start on passers by. On that note I'll never visit and if your thinking of visiting avoid unless you fancy a fight
