The Skinners Arms is a friendly pub located in Judd St. WC1, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Kings Cross station and Euston Rd to seem positively tranquil
Craig manages the extensive Real Ales on offer through 6 hand-pumps. He changes the listing regularly and offers many small brewery’s beers. He is always knowledgeable on what is on offer and in addition you will find he has a unique and friendly opinion on world events.
Margaret rustles up some fantastic food that is restaurant quality at bar prices. Freshly prepared and cooked with skill and passion. It is always worth trying her latest creation.
The pub takes its name from the trade that thrived in the cattle markets and tanneries that used to be in the Kings Cross area many centuries ago. The surrounding streets give clues to the people from the past and some from the present, namely Sir Andrew Judd and the Worshipful Company of Skinners. Thus we have Judd St. Tonbridge St. Hasting St and Hunter St. What more could you ask for.
Come in and watch London at leisure time.

Stumbled upon The Skinners Arms in London after visiting King's Cross, and it turned out to be the traditional pub experience I was hoping for. Pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian-friendly options, the tasty and generously sized portions made for a satisfying meal. Perfect spot for a quick and enjoyable lunch. Would definitely recommend!
Second visit to the Skinners and definitely not the last. For a Friday night, it was close to being a perfect pub experience. 4 or 5 beers on offer, including some unknown ones, plenty of gins to experiment with. Friendly, helpful bar staff, both in selecting drinks and clearing glasses from tables. It was warm and busy without being too loud, and extensively decorated for Christmas which helped with the ambience. Everything you'd want, to hunker down and have another couple of extras before getting a later train!
Wonderful place to sit for a bite to eat and a pint. The staff was incredibly welcoming (we are visiting on holiday). Brendan especially was kind and helpful! I recommend the steak and ale pie as well as the sticky toffee pudding! Great atmosphere, exactly what you want when eating at a British pub. Thank you!
Great pub near St Pancras station for a quick beer before commuting. Great choice of beers. Didn't tried the food. Service was great and efficient, ambiance seemed good too but didn't stayed that long to experience it or it was too early.
Very nice, old style pub with a different selection of beers that you can try. Very close to both Kings Cross and St Pancreas Station's if you're travelling. Right over the road from RNIB.
