We experienced great food the other day and the staff were lovely and accommodating. Take away is also decent, the quality of food remains good.
Just hoping this is seen by the owners,,booked in advance to arrive to find it was empty .not a good impression, never mind we were greeted by bar staff/waitress, not a memorable experience, seated, was asked to order by a code in the middle of the table,( I'm not a tech geek so asked for a menu,, greeted back at the table by not a smile but a drop on the table by the menu ,just dropped in the middle,,,chatted amongst ourselves,,,waitress took our order,,,2 meals arrived ,,the special which was a sunday lunch but it didnt appear,,asking the question why !! To be told that the ps system was not working so the chef/cook didnt recieve in the kitchen,,,was informed by the (waiter) it will be 20 mins wait,,so 2 of our party had our meal,,the 3rd member who ordered the sunday lunch decided at the very last moment to go for a burger in a bun. Not satisfactory at all,, I'm only giving your establishment 2 stars...I will not post this publicly,,,I just want to inform the owners or management that as a birthday treat for one of our party it was definitely not memorable... A family visit to celebrate my brother's birthday and what else can I say apart from.....wow, the burgers are huge!!!!! If you go, I'd highly recommend you try one of them as you won't regret it. Very friendly staff and it's right next to the town center. Regret not taking some pictures of the burgers but believe me, they are the biggest I've ever seen!!
Great little place and hidden gem for both food. If staying over the rooms are clean and spacious and situated in a quiet street within the town. The food and service was great and even though I can be a fussy eater nothing was to much trouble. All staff are friendly and place welcoming- well worth a try. Look forward to returning.
Visited Reubens BBQ yesterday with my wife and children for an early dinner. Service was amazing, female member of staff was full of smiles and couldn’t do enough for us. Ordered food and had a lovely chat with the member of staff about the menu and about their food challenge, sadly they’ve stopped doing it as i’d have given it a go 😁 Food arrived and to say we were amazed would be an understatement. Not only did the meals look great, they tasted even better with the meat melting in your mouth alongside the oozy cheese and hot sauce! All for great value and it’s safe to say we will 100% be going back there sooner rather than later!! 🍔 Only criticism we had was the location, we only found it as we used google maps. Maybe more signage on the high street would point more people in the right direction. Cannot comment on rooms as only visited the restaurant.
