We booked in for a fantastic Sunday dinner.. First we have had, since the fire and reopening but it was a quality dining experience.. Menu and quality is another level it really is . Staff are really friendly and attentive truly worth a visit.
We stayed here in the Attic. This was a spacious, well-appointed, clean room with a large bathroom. Great price, but it lacked windows, the TV/sky did not work, and the wifi did not reach the room, which was frustrating. Bizarrely, there was an Irish band playing that night that was surprisingly well received by the locals.
Just been for a meal for the second time as the first time it was just myself and the hubby as the son was away at uni, first time was so nice that we promised him we would take him before he went home. They didn’t disappoint it was absolutely beautiful. Keep up the good work guys!!
My sister and I visited mid November 2023. We were the first guests following the refurbishment. Caitlin and her team were brilliant - friendly, helpful, entertaining and very welcoming. The food was good and it was no big deal to pop next door for the excellent breakfast. We liked the quirky décor and the uneven floors! This place has real character and I won't hesitate to return. Hope it escapes the floods!
We, a group of 3, went there for dinner. Our food was great, and the staff was amazing. Also have to mention the nice atmosphere. Only thing that wasn't 5/5 was the ribeye steak, in though it was ordered as rare, it more fit the description of medium rare. A small thing, not enough to ruin the enjoyment of the steak
