Nice food lovely staff. Returned many times. Very sad to say. Jon and Les the proprietors are retiring very soon. Wishing them all the best for the future.
Ate here this evening had the asian chicken strips and my wife had the Gluten Free Fish and Chips. Excellent quality food cooked to perfection. Had the two courses for £15 mid week option. Amazing choice of deserts. Had the Key lime pie, and my wife had the Gluten Free Honeycomb cheesecake. Good choice of options on the two course specials. Really good service would highly recommend.
Definitely worth a visit, stunning quality steaks served on a volcanic hot rock…meaning you choose the level of cooking you want, rather than a busy kitchen just serving you want ever comes out of the pan and then sending it back. Great choice of wines and beers to accompany the meal, the staff all very professional in their conduct, with great attention to detail and also good to see, and rare these days, what we could only assume were locals at the bar having chats with the staff and other customers to..… makes it warm and inviting, a family feel rather than a pub chain…like we get round by where we live… just wished we lived in the area. A great place for a quality evening meal with a great range of meals .. we did go towards the weekend and the menu was extended with a specials list… not sure if this is on every evening though … 100% recommend this restaurant for an evening meal … oh and very extensive dessert menu .. if for what ever reason you have room left!
An incredible venue, so utterly balanced. Not pretentious, but comfortably classy. Friendly and professional. I have lived 7 years in the area, and only just discovered it... I intend to make up for that going forward. Everyone, go, you will not regret it.
Excellent watering hole that happens to have one of the best solutions to your food potentially going cold between the kitchen and your table. Chilled and friendly atmosphere with some fantastic service
