Stranded in Swindon while there was train cancellations and this spot was opposite the train station. Bonus! Wasn’t too annoyed after spending the evening in there. They had a decent live band on and decent pub food! Staff were attentive and very friendly 👍🏼
Nicky was a great host... Very happy and welcoming... I came to do some work and Nicky couldn't have been more helpful... Cooking meals in the kitchen aswell as serving at the bar with Charlotte. The queen's tap is a busy city centre pub but the beer garden was quite tranquil... It was Large, secluded with plenty of space with large screen TV and outside bar for the busy summer days. The food coming out of the kitchen looked fresh and inviting...😋
The roast I have eaten today will go down as the BIGGEST I have ever had. The food quality was good and the price was astounding. £15 gets you a trio of meats. To put it into perspective, I work out a lot and am a fairly large muscly 6'1 lump of a man who hadn't had breakfast and the lunch defeated me! Compliments to chef Ephi!
Excellent atmosphere, especially Fridays and Saturdays. Right across the Swindon train station. Hosts music performances. Popular with boomers
Popped in for a Sunday roast for my dad’s birthday and they also cater for Coeliacs! Which is amazing! The portion size is more than generous and there’s the option of having a bit of each meat on offer - which for my inner pig is a dream! Especially as it means I don’t have to make a decision over which meat to have 😂 The staff are friendly and helpful, able to answer any questions and always on hand if needed! Great atmosphere and selection of drinks and they also do gluten free desserts too! Thanks for having us! ❤️
