Stumbled across this little gem en route to a birds of prey experience. We were tired, starving and bursting for the toilet. We ordered a couple of sandwiches with chips which were absolutely delicious, proper homemade chips and fresh crusty bread!!! The toilets were immaculate and service was friendly and swift. Plenty of parking which is always a big tick for me. Very pleasant, would definitely return. 👌
Had a lovely meal here. the brie wedges were fantastic! Staff were great and it's dog friendly 😊
Many thanks to other reviewers who mentioned the excellent food. My beef sandwich (in a fresh, crispy baguette), chips & side salad for lunch was delicious. It's a fair sized pub with a garden out back with lovely views.
What a wonderful pub! I arrived at a minute or two before 2pm thinking I had until 3pm (according to Google) but they usually shut at 2pm if there isn't anyone in. The oven had just been turned off, but they turned it on again so I could get some lunch - wonderful customer service. The Queen's burger was also delicious!
