Popped in for a pint after a tough 29km on The Offas Dyke hike from Knighton. I needed to get to my B+B accommodation in nearby Chirbury. No luck getting a Taxi but the landlord and landlady found a local chap who kindly gave me a lift. Just wanted to say many thanks to all concerned for helping a stranger in need...good karma to you all! Highly recommend you swing by for a pint or 3 of the great beer they serve! Thanks again!! Popped in on the way through. The staff were so incredibly friendly. Locals were also very nice, if I'm in the area for a date again I'll be sure to stop in again!

Disappointed the only pub in Wales to dismiss my assistance dog when I stated that he was an assistance dog she did not care and stated the only place I could sit with him was out in the yard on a windy day and drizzle day and smokers come out and stood right by myself and it was disgusting as I do not smoke and he did not ask if I minded

A lovely quiet pub for all the family. A varied selection of beers, ciders and wines with a large array of spirits. They have plenty of different drinks for kids, fizzy and non fizzy. I was passing by while on holiday with my friends we went straight through to the garden area as we had small kids with us. As we walked back in to make an order the barman and the other customers who I'm guessing were locals were very inviting and so pleasant. The barman told me where the local pale ales were brewed and was up for a chat and a laugh. It was a great environment and made me come back the following day just for a quick pint. The outside area was clean and tidy. The barman came out with some parasols to help shade the younger ones and our pregnant friend. All in all it was a perfect stop for a round of beers with your mates or just a quick drink with the family. I'll definitely be stopping back at the Crown Inn if I pass through again in the future.
