Cheap room and didn't expect much, however smelly bathroom, drain issue, like stagnant water smells. Breakfast was diabolical. Cereal but no bowls, bread to toast but no plates. Fridge had open margarine tub with toast remnants in. Nobody available on site to address problem.
Lovely Saturday night can hear everything but nice bed room clean. No toilet paper or cups and teaspoon to stir and only 2 little milks I like at least 4 cups of tea in a morning. I would stay again good old style and lovely place maybe 2-3 days next time because where they do meals were fully booked so must be good.
Ostensibly a pub. Room was fine, although no towels provided even though there is a shower en-suite. Tea and coffee making facilities but no spoon or stirrers provided. No food in the evening so went out, returning at 9pm, to find the whole building locked up. I won’t be staying again.
Haven't stayed, never ever will, not even step foot into the place. Vile owners, would rather sleep in a cold room than a noisy room till 2am!!!! See thru doors to a so called ensuite....no guys its a cupboard....yes Jenna u r doing something wrong....very snooty....2 faced is an under statement...what high standards???? NONE of ur guests can sleep, ur rooms r dated, shower room is a cupboard....am so glad u came last.
Great reception from friendly staff. The rooms were a little dated but clean and very functional. Glass door on the en-suite a bit odd. You need to know your partner very well and be comfortable letting them see you on the throne. What did let it down a little was lack of food or breakfast. Also no one around to take payment. Paid through a link in the end. Fantastic location and to be fair lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. Very good value.
