Awesome lunch, lovely food and a coal fire 🔥
Bar can be a bit noisy if you are in for a family meal, but the restaurant is a lovely space. West Linton is lucky to have such a great pub/restaurant.
Came here with two kids, and they managed to squeeze in a table last moment. Great service, even better food! Nice pub atmosphere; definitely recommended!
Filled a hole. Okay but not great. Had a burger with ‘free’ toppings of haggis and cheddar. Burger overcooked with haggis round on top and raw onions and pickle on bottom bun. Cheddar looked like a cheese slice.
Recently moved to West Linton ( April 2019) and have squeezed in at least a monthly visit to the Bakehouse Been in as part of a large family gathering, as well as smaller groups (me, my 12 year old daughter and 11 year old son) and as a couple. Service is always with a smile and lovely welcome back each time. On every occasion the food has been delicious, I have asked for recommendations from the menu twice now and both times have proved great choices. My children also love it and have had the menu tweaked as requested ( mini fish and chips being the consistent order for my 11 year old) House red also a hit - yum! Definitely worth 5 starts, food , service, value for money and all in all a great night out, please go and try it for yourself . Love it!
