4 real ales are usually on offer. At present Hook Norton's 'Old Hooky', Shotover's 'Scholar', Timothy Taylor's 'Landlord 'and Adnams' 'Southwold'.
Built in 1863, the Rose and Crown is simply styled with cosy rooms and a covered and heated courtyard. The service of good ale, fine wine and honest food are paramount.

AFTERNOON CLOSING in AUGUST and EARLY SEPTEMBER from 2.30pm to 5pm.
There is no entry to the Rose and Crown after MIDNIGHT, this is enforced under the terms of our licence.
