Fabulous food. Portion sizes are extremely generous all homemade just delicious best chicken ham pie ever and homemade chippies yum yum yum
We had a lovely meal here this evening and the atmosphere is a real local, country pub complete with an open fire and dogs. The steak and ale pie is one of the best I've had in a long while. Fortunately, my wife couldn't manage all her scampi so I had a couple of pieces of that as well and that will be my meal when we return. My son in law had the steak and that looked lovely as well. A big 10/10 from me. We WILL be back.
Excellent home made food, lots of variety and service is very friendly and quick! We will definitely visit again! Highly recommended!
A great country pub, superb food, proper home cooked chips with a beautiful open fire
Just called in for a meal - this is what pubs should be like. A traditional place; an open fire and serving good ale and proper home cooked food - my steak pie was fabulous and served with a boiled potatoes, peas and gravy (other choices available). First time here but it won't be our last. It's well worth a visit
