Review is for the restaurant. Service was brilliant, very kind and attentive. All the food was delicious, and the passion fruit pastilles a very inventive idea that definitely worked. Great value also.
We didn't stay in a room, I was really disappointed! The breakfast was just warm, but the presentation was good, and it looked good on the plate.. That's as good as it got! My yolk on my fried egg was hard and nut runny, and they pride themselves on the Black Bull Beans. These aren't for me, like little bullets, hard and very bland! I was told after my meal I could have had normal baked bean if I wished!! No good telling me after! The staff were very friendly and the place was nice and clean
Excellent lunch with wonderful food and service. We were not aware of the 25%discount offer for Wednesday and Thursday during October. So this made our experience even better! You need to advertise this as it’s a great deal!!
Simply incredible.. The food was an absolute delight, a tornado of flavours that were wonderfully put together. The presentation was beautiful. I would have been just as happy to pay the same price for half of what was served, not because it was a particularly large portion, but because it was so delicious I would have been just as satisfied regardless of the portion size.. bold enough to be served as small plates. Very good indeed. The service was classy and elegant which matched the environment, such a lovely setting at the top of the hill in a quaint little community village. A local pub that compliments it perfectly. Highly commendable.
