Smart pub, good for food and families

Went for a quiet Sunday evening pint to The Ridley Arms. One of those pubs that's in a place you would never drive past, but is very easy to get to. The pub really is very smart, and has had plenty of money spent on it which is great (if only all pubs were as clean & tidy!). Didn't eat but plenty were, and the food looked good.

Was waiting at the bar, and was quickly spotted by the manager, who stopped what he was doing and came over to serve. Order a pint of Black Sheep (disappointingly served in a John Smith's glass!), but was also given a stamped cask ale card - buy 6 pint and get your 7th free - very good.

All in all, a very good pub that I will definitely come back to.
