Went here on a pub crawl. A single bartender handled 40 pub goers with cool efficency. Cudos to the man. Standard prices for an Edinburgh pub, cosy too.

Gone through many revamps, this bar has always been a hidden game within Stockbridge. Arrived with some friends to watch the rugby, this bar was particularly quiet however this left us with lots of space and plenty of room to spread. They do offer pies as a bar snack, which brings backs lots of memories, however at the time there were no pies on offer.

Held a business dinner here in June. Very active, bar was busy but not over crowded, plenty of seating and assorted places to sit, from inside the bar to the back "deck" overlooking the garden to the area in front of the hotel/restaurant. Dinner was well prepared and well presented. Nice. We did review the rooms, they are exceptionally well appointed.

Newly revamped and aiming to please, this is a funky spot for cocktails and people watching. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, you might find you stay longer than you planned to.
