Popped by this bar after a movie and the ambiance was great! Loved the little details in the decoration, the music and lightning. Will definitely come back and check out any events they may have on. Didn't have food that's why I did not review it, but the smell of it was tempting enough!
We celebrated a birthday party at the basement with friends, the deal was particularly satisfactory. The venue in the basement perfectly suited for 30-40 people, the staff was very friendly with everyone and for me the plus side was that they have a little bar to serve drinks downstairs. When finished the party time we had a reserved space upstairs to enjoy more drinks with friends. Good atmosphere and great music. We had a great time there, highly recommended.
Away from the Royal Mile and tourist zones we found Home Bar going to a Fringe show in its small basement room. Ended up being a warm cozy spot to kill a couple hours. Gave us a 'locals' vibe that was a nice counter point to the all the tourist spots in Old Town.
Great live venue. Helpful intelligent staff. Deserves to be better known.
I booked the function room at Home Bar for my 21st birthday celebration, and it was an immense success! The staff members were remarkably warm and helpful, readily addressing any inquiries I had. Their attentive and outstanding customer service persisted throughout the entire event. The function room itself was superbly equipped, boasting a well-stocked bar, comfortable seating, and tastefully decorated surroundings that evoked a cozy ambiance. I would wholeheartedly recommend this bar to friends and family members.
