The best thing about this place is the view overlooking Parkgate. It's even better outside in the summer. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Food is very nice and they have a good selection of beers but they are slightly expensive, but worth it for the experience.
This hotel is a little gem. Quirky with its ship related decor. Room was spotlessly clean and very cosy. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great atmosphere and generally very pleasant and efficient service. Would have got 5 stars except that my wife, when asked about dietary requirements on booking, stated the need for skimmed milk. This was missed / ignored. And my full english breakfast, apart from the sausage, was either cold, or tepid at best. We would return though and seek to ensure no recurrences.
This pub/hotel has been refurbished during the last year and is a really nice place to eat and drink. The fish and triple cooked chips were really nice and the Shiraz was the perfect temperature. A nice table by the log fire on a cold November afternoon is definitely the right choice. Very helpful and happy professional staff too. What's not to like!
We had a lovely snack overlooking the estuary. We will definitely go there again. A pleasant half-day out for us, walking through Parkgate and enjoying the food and view from their lovely upstairs outside area. Even if it's too cold to sit outside next time, we'll still visit, and try the cosy-looking pub area instead.
