Central, historic pub on Dale Street. Great place to pop into for lunch for a swift pint on the way home. Drinks are reasonable (their Cruzcampo is crisp and goes down far too easily!). Food is decent, the Scouse is great (though am I partial to the scampi), the pies have always been tasty and well cooked. When the weather is nice, there is a decent sized beer garden which is shared with The Lady of Mann bar next door, but generally has a good atmosphere no matter how crowded. Worth a visit if ever in Liverpool.
Great old pub. Food excellent pie of the day, steak & ale with buttery mash, mushy peas & lashings of wonderful rich gravy. Superb portion sizes the pie stuffed full of steak. Note the dinner plate was extremely large.
Took a punt on this place......what a great find. Superb food + beers on offer. Yes, the pie really is as big as it looks 😋 Extremely clean + really great staff. Will def recommend a visit here.
Thomas Rigbys is a great, old, traditional pub that always delivers good service and a vast choice of ales. Split into a bar to the left and more of a restaurant area to the right, there are also tv's to watch sport. To the rear of the pub, there is a large, private courtyard shared with the Lady of Mann pub, which catches the sun most of the day, if you sit in the right area. Whilst we didn't eat here on the day of these photos and review, I have eaten here on many occasions and the food is traditional good pub food. Not great quality, but good value for a pub. Drink prices are reasonable for this type of pub and there is a good choice of drinks. If visiting Liverpool and you want a traditional pub with a good atmosphere, I'd pop in here.
Friendly waiters and bartenders, fast service . Great portion size . Haddock, chips and peas all cooked perfectly.

The oldest pub in Liverpool provides a great combination of Cask Ales, Live Sport every week and lots of Live music. So whatever your looking for, Ye Hole in Ye wall will have it.
