Came to meet and eat with family. The food was great. A little tricky to get to the way I came, but that's the price of a fantastic location. Didn't stay over so can't comment on rooms etc.
We had Sunday lunch here, great food, and, it was hot! Now that's something you don't get very often nowadays. They had a couple of good ales on too.
Came and stayed in the middle of winter with a bit of snow around - it was such a warm and welcoming place to get to! Real fire burning away in the bar lounge. Really friendly staff keen to serve and accomodate as quick and as much as possible. The bar has great beer selection. It is frequented by plenty of 'regulars' who seem very content, with visitors coming and going as well. The room was really cosy in the cols with warm central heating and very thick, feather duvet, etc. The bathroom seemed cold due to solid floor and window to alleviate condensation, but the shower was so strong and hot that it overcame that! Lovely fellow guests with dogs. Traditional food menu - I had crusted rack of lamb for dinner and was delicious, with plenty of accompanying vegetables. It was not a chain-pub measured/frozen portion. I also spied a more formal and still very cosy looking dining room to the front. Wifi was really good as I was there for work and needed to sit in the bar hammering out emails, etc. Surrounding area looks very nice to explore, especially the old railway line which is now a walking track.
A lovely stay at the Manifold Inn. Fab food, excellent service, good range of beers and wines. Cosy Bar. Stayed in room 9 with our dogs. Good size, comfy bed, good WiFi and right next to a stream so the lovely noise of trickling water to send you to sleep. Lots of walks locally. Added bonus of the tractor Christmas run too 😎Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks team Manifold 👌
Didn’t stay at the hotel but enjoyed a fantastic meal at The Manifold. The food was amazing - we had the pan fried chicken from the specials menu and the chicken burger. Both were excellent! Staff were attentive. Bar area cosy and clean - they even had the fire going 🙂 would definitely recommend.

Situated in the beautiful Peak District, with fabulous views of the Manifold View, the Staffordshire Knot Inn is the perfect rural pub. Think 16th Century exterior, log fires (in the Winter) and a comforting interior. A bit like home, but better!
