The Two Chairmen is thought to be one of the oldest pub businesses in Westminster and is located in a small cul-de-sac between St James’ Park and Parliament Square.
The area around The Two Chairmen is full of attractive townhouses, quiet mews and small alleys giving the feel of a bygone age. There are many blue plaques commemorating the many influential statesmen, lords and admirals that lived in this area of Westminster.
Of course Westminster is also the area of London with some of the most iconic tourist sites, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and 10 Downing Street. The Two Chairmen is a short walk from St James’ Park and Horse guards Parade and of course is convenient for St James’ Park underground station.
AKN king of the reviews, could not miss the chance to visit London, a very important city for the Queen. The Two Chairmen is an unexpected surprise. As you might know AKN is a king, but in terms of money is poor, as a lot of people will read this review. The soap was astonishing, perfect for the cold day when he went to the pub. The fish and chips was good, probably missing a bit pf salt, but very huge and highly appreciated. The Two Chairmen is the best place if you want to show off to have money but is affordable for everyone. BEST PUB IN THAT STREET OF LONDON
A quaint pub in a very pretty part of London. The Two Chairmen at the end of Queen Anne's Gate is a lovely pub in the heart of Westminster. A small pub from the Greene King stable, it offers all the expected treats, both solid and liquid. A calm and at the moment Christmassy feel to the place. Lovely people, both sides of the bar, great pub.
We had the best meal in London in our trip. The food was very very tasty, not a culinary masterpiece but because it’s Britain we’re talking about. Big portions in our opinion. The atmosphere was lovely! Make a booking tho, there won’t be any space otherwise :)))
What a wonderful place! We were greeted and taken upstairs for lunch. The girls up there made us feel right at home. The food was great (we 4 all had something different and all was wonderful) and the service even better! Highly recommend!
Conveniently located near Westminster Abby, it has a lively atmosphere at night and it's a great place for a pint with friends. Ordered the steak and ale pie with a side of onion rings that was alright.
