The Steam Engine, Lambeth

Located only a short walk from Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye. The 'Bestplace' in Waterloo is perfectly located for those arriving in London with all the major attractions in mind. Or for those wanting to party all night in one of Londons famous bars and clubs, our hostel places you on their door step.

On arrival you will check in at 'The Steam Engine', our very own bar.

Our friendly staff will advise you of all the activities scheduled for the week, including BBQ's, Quiz nights and karaoke.

The hostel is only a few minutes walk from Lambeth North tube stop, five minutes from Waterloo Station and only a short ride further to Victoria Coach Station, the gate way to Europe.

If you need some time out, why not relax in our bar or beer garden, open to guests 24 hours, and enjoy our daily drink specials. We have three large plasma screens showing SKY sports throughout the day, so you wont miss that major event from home. If you're looking for more action, why not challenge fellow travelers on our Nintendo Wii or pool table, both are free to use from midnight until dawn.

A free continental breakfast is served every morning. And although we do not have self catering facilities, we do have a microwave and kettle for guests to prepare food. You will also find a large number of restaurants, bakery's and cafe's just around the corner.

Linen is included and towels can be hired from reception for a small charge.

WiFi is available in our bar and for those who do not have their own computer, laptops are available for hire.
