While it calls itself a pub, it's not really a pub as most people would think of one. Yes, there is a bar, and there are screens with sport, but it really is a restaurant with a bar (and to be fair they do not mind you sitting at the bar with a drink - no pressure to order food). I did not eat on my first visit; but I will try to put that right soon!
Came here a few weeks ago and had a wonderful time. Staff were all very friendly and food arrived promptly. The ribeye steaks were immense, along with everything else - we loved the quail scotch eggs and truffled mac and cheese balls especially! The desserts were also wonderful. It is quite rich but that’s what we expected- really hearty and well prepared. Nice relaxed atmosphere so had a great evening.
A new local favourite! We had high expectations coming in but all were surpassed - brilliant service from the most friendly team I’ve seen in London in years, delicious food (we had the chateaubriand -yum!) and a great atmosphere from a mixed crowd.
We went on Friday evening to eat dinner and have a few drinks and it was all delicious! Staff were super friendly and food really tasty. We got the ribeye steaks each, cooked to perfection! Then shared a few sides broccoli and lamb kebab.
The service was friendly and the food was excellent! We ordered £100 steak and some starters which were all good. A lots of customers were having burgers which also looked nice. We will definitely go back there again.
