Barrio North's neighbourhood is inclusive of anyone with a similar mindset rather than geographic locality.

Have to be sceptical of the perfect reviews after my visit. The male bartender was quite impatient with customers, let alone a smile. Feels like he’s very tired of working here.
A bright venue good for cocktails, radio friendly classics blasting from the jukebox and space for dancing. A friend and I went here for a pre-gig cocktail with their £2 tacos on a Saturday. It was pretty empty but the energy from those on their work night out was good. Reasonable price
We stayed for a few hours on a Saturday night 4-7 happy hour on cocktails, they pre make a few to speed up service, good idea. Full of fun people. Maybe not the best seating areas or beer on offer but I don't think they were trying to be a pub. Good fun place. I would go again if I was younger.
-If you’re Latino or like Latin music: The DJ never played Latino music (didn’t hear any J Balvin, Karol G, Maluma, Bad Bunny, Natti Natasha, Fercho, salsa, corridos, vallenato or merengue music). The name of the place and the confusing Mexican/Latin decoration it’s purely a strategy to catch your eye and bring you there. -If you’re not Latino or don’t give a damn about Latin music: This is probably the right place if you just want to have a dance after having a few pints at the pub across the street. They will play the classics from Anglo hip hop, music that will talk to that nostalgia seeker and barely a few Hispanic songs that have been a hit in Europe (despacito, hips don’t lie, el taxi, Macarena) that will make you believe it’s actually the music we would play in an authentic “barrio” - but we would not. Prices: definitely not the prices you’d pay for drinks in a proper “barrio”.
Staff Member Marcus was great! Really loves the vibe and music there. Great customer service. Drinks are nice too, my favourite was the CAIPIRINHA. Will definitely be back for another great night!
