I'd have to say, this is most likely one of my favourite pubs in London. A very friendly gentleman who manages it so I'd highly recommend speaking to him. Alongside that, it's right opposite the Top Secret Comedy Club which is always brilliant and has some excellent comedians.
We had a couple of drinks before going to see ‘Crazy For You’ around the corner. Super hosts. Warm, friendly and nicely quirky. It’s a small place so can get noisy when some of the customers are a raucus hen party, but super atmosphere. We popped in again on our way home and got a great welcome! Then when we left, Herman (one of the hosts) came running after us as I had left my diary on the table! How super of him to have done that and I appreciated it greatly. Will be back! Didn’t eat this time but hopefully next as the food looked great!
In town for three days - so glad we discovered The Sun Pub on day one for lunch cos it meant we could go back (several times!!). Great hosts, beer, food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Nice pub with a good selection of beers. Also serves pie and mash. There is also seating area upstairs. Guy behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming
Great venue and the selection of comedians are brilliant. Laughs all the way. Great and quick service. A little bit more space would be nice in the seating but overall a great night out.
