A real Country Inn, with freshly prepared award winning food, real hand drawn cask ales, log fires and above all, warm and friendly people. Whilst we don't claim to be the biggest or the best, our reputation as one of Lancashire's most popular pub/restaurants is richly deserved. We are independent, not part of some faceless brewery chain and as such can offer you, our valued customer, what you personally want from a Country Inn - and not what some Brewery Marketing Executive thinks you should have! The Fox dates back, as far as we can ascertain, to the mid 1800's. However it has been in our loving ownership since the year 2000. We are open every day, with our award-winning food served at Lunch and in the evening. We hope that our web-site gives you a flavour of what we have to offer and that it just might encourage you to pay us a visit. After all, the proof of the pudding, really is in the eating!
