Visited preston for my birthday celebration and found this absolute gem! It is an amazing place and a fantastic night was had. Barmen are fab and live entertainment was brilliant can't wait to go back

Just a little concerned that on paying for drinks last night, my receipt quotes my full 16 digit code from my credit card and expiry date, so if that receipt was lost someone could work out the 3 digit code on the back and use those details. And also on the receipt it states THE PEAR TREE INN rather than THE ANGEL. Something does not feel right at all.

Absolutely brilliant place for a drink. Friendly and helpful staff with both contactless payments and cash payments taken. Clean W.C. and wiped down tables. Good selection of both cask ales and lagers. Great atmosphere and very competitive prices. ☆☆☆☆☆🍻

Love this place, I go in often and have done for years now. The staff and owners are friendly and always welcoming. It has a great selection of drinks and cocktails, well worth a visit!
