One of the last breed of traditional pubs. Many different types of people but not cliquey or gossipy. Friendly clientele that are accepting and take as they find. Reasonably priced drinks. Fast efficient bar service. No food menu except for usual type bar snacks. Sports bar showing majority of football matches and some other sports but some of the TV's need updating. Window seating has some of the best views on the island. Raised balcony area planned for summer 23

The Pub is located near the Abbey. You can drink an ale while enjoying the view over the Sheppey Island.

Very welcoming, but did not have a lunchtime menu. Staff were friendly and able to direct us to a local working mens club for lunch!

Very quiet but the girl behind the bar was very nice and we got talking to a couple of regulars and had a good night watching the football. A good old-fashioned working class drinkers pub. Excellent for sports, and you can play darts and pool, we loved it.👍👍
