Very rough, and dirty with flies in the pub — very unusual place, and almost like stepping into another world — albeit I was treated better than I ever have been in a pub that has seemed this rough

For down to earth people, a good night, friendly welcome and a good pint, cannot be beaten. There are cleaner and posher but here haslingden folk are at their best and a great atmosphere!
