Dreadful food & service

Go somewhere else
We booked for a Sunday lunch/birthday celebration. Undoubtedly the worst dining experience we've ever had:
One of the two draught beers had run out
No lamb (at 1.30pm)
One starter missed
Table too small for party, despite advance booking
Most food passable, but roast chicken dried out and tasteless, vegetables poor
Huge wait betweeen courses, 30 minute wait for dessert menu, complained - order taken and dessert still not served, asked for bill after further 30mins and desserts hadn't even been been started.
Far too expensive for the menu.
Service absolutely dreadful, not the staff's fault - poor management and just not enough staff. We had two drinks in the 2.5 hours we were there for the two courses we got, staff don't come around often enough to take orders.

Seriously, go somewhere else. Do not give the Bridge at Shawford your patronage.
