A Bottle Shop and Wine Bar located just off Raeburn Place in Stockbridge. Our aim is simple: to source, acquire and serve to you, the best wines we can find at any given price point.
We are two brothers, brought up locally, with over 20 years of passion and experience in the hospitality and wine industry. We love great food and interesting wines and staunchly believe in sourcing as much as we can locally. Our wines originate for the most part from small producers that intervene as little as possible in the cultivation process and work with as much care as possible for the grapes and land.
In the bar we serve a constantly changing 20 wines by the glass, or you can open any bottle from our extensive list. We also have a fantastic kitchen, so if you're hungry we have some amazing food for you. Great wine is for everyone, and everyone is welcome at Good Brothers!.
A very lovely little gem! Very atmospheric and cozy. Super accommodating and friendly staff. A little pricey though!
Independent wine bar in the popular Stockbridge area that sits just off the main thoroughfare. We sampled a couple of good wines by the glass, which are available in 125ml, 175ml and 500ml carafes at a range of price points for every budget. There's a bar nibbles list with bread from the excellent Palmerston, olives, hummus etc. The interior is unpretentious and a great place to meet with friends over a drink. There are also a few beers available on tap, including their own line. Seemed very quiet this particular Sunday afternoon but it's wel worth the small detour off the main street
I always have a comfortable and cozy time when I come to this wine bar. I really enjoy the wine list. There’s always something on the list that really excites me. Although I’m usually not a fan of New World wines, they had a South African wine on the glass list that was so spectacular. They also have great wines from all over Europe, many are natural. I’m always a fan of their cheese plate and of their small plates. I really enjoyed their take on hummus. Most of all I feel the staff is really kind and knowledgeable about all the wines and makes me feel at home.
Had a great lunch, meats and cheeses. Loved the starter of Mini Venison Pie. We were in early on our own and even had Sweet Home Alabama played twice.
Even though it's called a "bar", food here is beyond delicious! They change menu every week, but always have a great choice for anyone. Especially liked carrots and steak, cooked till perfection with loads of flavour 👌 Will come back!
