I've been coming here for years through the many people who have owned it. I would say it's at its best now. Food is fantastic,service is great and the atmosphere is always cosy and inviting here. Plenty of option on the menu but you do wait quite a while for food. The place is beautiful at night the way it is lit outside and it always makes me feel like I am on a boat. The place is always clean and tidy.
Popped in here last Sunday for a late lunch, we wasn't booked in but thought we would try our luck. Managed to get served straight away and was seated within a minute. I had the roast Beef which was lovely, staff were friendly too. Overall a nice pleasant experience yet again... :-)
Visited on a Friday lunchtime with my mum and niece. Very lovely old fashioned pub with lovely views of the river Severn and plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly, but the service was a bit slow. The food was excellent with very good portion sizes. I would recommend the steak and ale pie, scampi, and chicken stack, and I highly recommend the white chocolate and baileys cheesecake. Average pub prices, so I would say very good value for the money. Highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again.
Food amazing. Sat outside due to dogs but the sun was shining - in October - but atmosphere seemed good inside when ordering. Service was impeccable. Only passing through but would return if local
