Re-opened in December 2015, we are a family orientated local pub with very friendly staff who are here to make your visit enjoyable
We have a selection of Real Ales, Beers and Lagers and we serve traditional home cooked food.
Food is served Monday to Friday from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
We server breakfasts every Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Good local pub with no airs or graces. Not had the food but certainly looked appetising
Called in for lunch, very impressed. Haven't been in the pub for a couple of years, been totally redesigned, very much for the better. Had a nice lunch & a lovely beer. Would recommend, we will return
Went to see show by pub nice pub to have a drink while waiting for show too start couldn't get a cab so walked back to spennymoor town
Great pub, great ales and friendly atmosphere. Played a great gig here with my band Turtle Z's in front of a wonderful audience. We were made to feel very welcome and it was an absolute pleasure to play there. 2 more gigs to play there this year and really looking forward to them. I'll definitely be back to try a few more beers in the meantime and try and catch a band or two. Great pub highly recommended.
