Food was alright, chips were abit bland one or two under cooked. Atmosphere loud as to be expected. Service was spot on cannot fault them.
Prior to this visit there was an elderly man working there , who was collecting glasses delivering meals and putting empty glasses in the glass washer , and to top it all was serving drinks while the younger staff members were stood about. The man deserves a medal 🏅 ten out of ten
Good and experienced, polite staff. The food was good, not much impressed by the quantity but impressed by the quality. I had a boneless bucket and chips. Boneless bucket- You will get two kinds of chicken around 8 chicken small to medium-sized pieces and colesau. Enjoyed it! Love to visit again and try other items.
Had a mixed grill and was the worst food I have ever had. Been here quite a lot and it is a bit hit and miss but this was a shocker, the meat was dry and way way overcooked? Terrible I also overheard someone else say it was the worst mixed grill they had ever had. Sack the bloody chef or better still the manager..
Quite a smart interior and exterior period building with a small outdoor terrace. I had a traditional breakfast served with a steak knife (which wasn't a problem apart from slightly awkward buttering the toast). Food was cooked as it should be, but beans were lukewarm (fairly common problem). The female member of the team wasn't as sociable as the male, which is a shame really because customer interaction is important to some people and shouldn't be overlooked, especially when working in the hospitality sector. Another tip for the business: please consider spooning the baked beans immediately prior to serving. That way, the beans should be as warm as the rest of the food. Would I go back? Yes, if I was in the vicinity with time to spare.
