My wife Jill is our in-house chef, she takes great pleasure in being able to create culinary delights sourced from local produce. We have a local ranger that delivers us fresh culled venison, a neighbouring farm "Reddings Farm" supplies us with pheasant and wild duck and the best of all a renowned forager "Alex" who supplies us with all types of wild herbs to wild field and forest mushrooms. We are truly blessed by being located amidst some of the finest pasture and agricutural land in Wales.
We have a separate dining room that can seat up to 60 people comfortably. Available to hire any day of the week, from christenings to funerals. We also offer business facilities, corporate meetings to include WiFi and large screen display.
Excellent food and friendly staff. Great country pub atmosphere with log fires. Not doing accomodation now.
This is such a lovely, friendly place. My husband and I visit fairly regularly. The staff are welcoming, and the fresh home cooked food is amazing. Well worth a visit.
Tucked away a little jewel, in an area of outstanding beauty so don't be surprised if you just drive by as you look at around you with all that catches your eye. The food was wonderful and the beverage was right for that dark Rainy Night.
A group of us just popped in to this remote pub on the off-chance for a quick drink. I would have loved to try the beer but I knew I'd be driving later. However lovely chatty service from the landlord and a good atmosphere, so I loved it.
It's a gorgeous old pub! They makehome made cakes too - my coffee walnut was good. Nice staff too. Very enthusiastic about the cakes. Which I loved. Genuine 5*****
