Service was brilliant Food was fantastic. Choice of beers very poor....no local ales. Room looked tired and in need of sprucing up. Bed was really comfortable Ideal location for the Botanical Gardens.
Rooms need refurbishment, clean and comfortable,lovely breakfast included with the room price.

Absolutely brilliant pub and great food and an amazing landlady. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is great as well. Take it from someone who used the rooms on a weekly basis for 9 months.
A village center pub with a few rooms for b&b. The pub menu is well priced, the food is served quickly and is good. The rooms are clean and reflect the price. The staff are very cheerful, efficient and polite. A juke box in the bar attracts the younger village population, so it can be lovely and noisy at times. There is a nice dining room at the front of the pub. A large marquee at the rear houses a pool table etc. There is a large carpark and a shop/postoffice next door.
