Sports bar, with a L-shaped bar that accommodates two dart boards and pool tables. Raised portion at one end which is seating only. Bar snacks are available.
Fairly good start for new management, but will need more customers once Christmas is over. I think it will pick up, and I will be going back.
1st time visit, a week day evening, it was quiet but the staff and customers were welcoming, the pool table is in excellent condition, food was delicious (I had seconds!) Not a huge selection of drinks but had what I wanted so no problem for us. Ended up staying til closing time with the jukebox playing a wide variety of music. Would definitely visit again.
Went to this pub for two emotional days clearing mother in law's flat after she died. The friendliest pub ever, landlord knew our round, locals spoiling our spaniel Alfie!! Highly recommended x
Wonderful gem, thoroughly enjoyed a longer stop than anticipated after visiting friends. Great music in background playing, not too loud to still have a conversation. Had it not been so early would have happily danced along. Really good beer. Nice pool table, free on a wednesday! Lucky us! Thanks so much for making our visit welcoming.
Hidden jem, quiet but has pool tables friendly staff and a great atmosphere, large smoking area with plenty of tables. Weatherspoons may be cheeper but has nothing on this place. Over £2000 donated to charity but suffering due to covid. Honestly worth a pint and a meal, you won't regret it. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
