We stayed for one night and loved it! It's in a beautiful location overlooking some fields, although the road can be busy we found we slept very well. It is an old building with uneven floors, but we it found quite quaint and quirky and it only added to the experience! The food was lovely and great value for money and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
We stayed for 2 nights in the family room and it was huge. We had dinner both nights and it was very nice with fair prices. All of the staff were really friendly. This is a very old property and therefore rustic in places with uneven floors which only added to our experience. Overall a very nice stay and we would certainly return when in the area.
The owner is very friendly, our welcome was lovely, the room was spotlessly clean, homely and comfortable ( triple room with our 4 year old) and breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
Nice external appearance and easily found; very nice location but easily accessed, no minor roads needed! This is a great family-run hotel with GREAT food, hospitality and a very convivial atmosphere. Good size rooms at a reasonable price. We had a family get together on our last night with 13(!) of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, the catering and service were excellent.
Friendly, helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Room very large and clean and although on a main road still had a good night's sleep. Food good and breakfast delicious . Nice to see a rustic pub still with pool table a dart board,as not many left now. Will return ,as had a good time . Thank you xx
